I have worked with young people since 1994 and during this time I have guided them through many stages and challenges of life.
Being a teenager is confusing, challenging and tough. But it can also be exciting and rewarding. You will be making and losing friends, You will be studying, passing and failing exams. You will see births of siblings, deaths of friends and family and making and breaking of relationships.
Unfortunately you might also experience grief, trauma, abuse, loss…things which make life hard. You might feel anxiety, depression and overwhelm.
My passion is to give you space and a confidentual listening ear to navigate these life changes. So many adults suffer in pain because of what has happend to them as a child or young person. It doesnt need to be that way for you or your child.
Grasp freedom now and don’t let it effect this exciting time in your life or be taken into your adult life.
Parents: Please reach out for a conversation to see how counselling with Open door can help your child. We aim to work with you not against you. As a parent of teenagers myself, I understand the need to find the right person you can trust to input into your child’s life.
